Here at ShopFreshSeaFood we like to get a little personal and give you a sneak peak at all of the crazy characters (okay, maybe not all of our crazy characters because Jerry is a little on the weird side) that work for our fabulous online seafood market. Hey, if we were our customers we would want to know who was sending us those special coolers packed to the brim with scrumptious seafood straight to our doorstep.
Why not start our employee bios with the top of the seafood chain? She's a self proclaimed seafoodie whose family has been in the fresh fish business for almost 60 years. She's smart, sassy, and absolutely adores seafood. It's your ShopFreshSeaFood Captain… (drum roll, please) MEGAN!
What is your role at ShopFreshSeafood.com?
My job is to make sure ShopFreshSeaFood.com is successful. That includes SEO, marketing, packaging, and making sure the product we send out is phenomenal. I also handle a lot of customer service and I make sure the site is easy to understand and converting properly. So, basically, (laughs) I wear a lot of hats right now.
What's your favorite seafood that your company ships out?
That’s a toughie! My favorites are salmon, scallops, branzini, and the crab claws! I guess I named them all. So, I have to choose just one? Yikes! Maybe the crab claws are my favorite. They are fun to eat and a show stopper at parties! People tend go ‘wide eyed’ when they see them!

I’m a disaster in training to be a master. But even that is a disaster. I’m so bad. One thing I know is food ALWAYS tastes better when someone else cooks it. I try really hard to be a good cook but I’m not consistent. Funny enough the only thing that I make that always comes out right is… seafood. I’m not sure if it’s because OURs eafood is so fresh orto cook- a dash of salt, pepper, lemon and you can throw in right in the oven- or if it’s because our product is such a high end product, that it’s hard to mess it up. I don’t know!

Seafood is the original fast food. It’s so easy and quick to prepare. And it’s so healthy that when I serve it to my family I really feel like they are getting something good for them.

Love Actually. I’m not the kind of person to watch a movie more than once, I’m usually more of a one and done movie watcher. But that one I watch every Christmas day with my mom and my sister and I'm not sick of it yet!
